The Lilburn Police Department is proud to announce we intend on hosting the 9th District meeting on May 20th! Precision Planning of Lawrenceville has graciously agreed to sponsor our Chick-fil-A breakfast so please arrive as early as 9:00 am to enjoy food and fellowship with your friends.
Our address is 4600 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lilburn. We are centrally located on Lawrenceville Hwy between Indian Trail Road and Beaver Ruin Road. Training will commence at 10:00 am. We plan to have an interactive group discussion on COVID-19, life before, during, and into the future. Lilburn PD Captain Scott Bennett will facilitate the training.
Because of established CDC social distancing guidelines, we have the capacity to safely seat just 40 people and each attendee must bring and wear a mask. Unfortunately, the training is now at full capacity. If you have not already responded that you intend to be present in the meeting, unfortunately you will not be able to do so. With that said, we will live stream the meeting and provide executive training hours for those of you that are unable to attend in person.
In addition to the training that will be provided, we will honor Retired Georgia Department of Public Safety Director Mark McDonough by presenting him with his life membership to the GACP and recognition of his many years of dedicated service to the citizens of the state of Georgia. We may also have a very special guest in attendance, if scheduling allows, so you don’t want to miss this meeting.
