The Garden City Police Department will be hosting the August District 6 Meeting on Thursday, August 26th. Training will be over Legislative Updates, instructed by Chief Gilbert Ballard.
The District 5 meeting will be held on August 26th at the First United Methodist Church in Brunswick. The topic of training will be Legal and Legislative Update, given by Hal Braswell. Lunch will be provided, so be sure to RSVP with Chief Wright at cwright@blackshearpolice.org.
The District 1 meeting will be on August 31, 2021, at the ABAC cafeteria. Chief Strickland will host and Billy Mixon with Columbus State Command College will be providing training. The meeting will start at 11:30 and end at 13:00. A meal will be provided, so please RSVP with Chief Strickland (fstrickland@abac.edu), Chief Steve Miller (smiller@raycityga.gov) or Chief Shane Daughtry (shane.daughtrey@leo.gov).
The Woodbury Police Department will be hosting the District 3 meeting on September 7th. The topic of training will be Criminal Justice Coordinating Council: Georgia Sexual Assault Cold Cases.

Due to the overwhelming response for attendance at the District Nine meeting on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, the location of the meeting has been changed. The new meeting location is The Fair Street Neighborhood Center located at 715 Fair Street, Gainesville, Georgia 30501. Breakfast will begin at 9:00 am with training immediately following. If you have not done so, please RSVP to Chief Parrish at JParrish@gainesvillega.gov so he can get an accurate headcount for the meal.
On Wednesday, September 22nd the 8th District Chiefs Training will be held at the Carrollton Police Department from 11-1. The topic is Human Trafficking and VICAP regulations. The guest speaker will be Amy Hutsell. Amy is the Program Director for the Sexual Assault, Child Abuse and Human Trafficking Unit with Georgia’s Criminal Justice Coordinating Council. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP jrichards@carrollton-ga.gov with a number of attendees.
The Executive Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 29th at 10:00 am at the Warner Robins Police Department.
The Warner Robins Police Department will be hosting the District 4 Meeting On Wednesday, September 29th. The meeting will be held directly after the GACP Executive Board Meetings.
