Chief Brown of the Pooler Police Department has offered to host the next District 6 meeting. The meeting will be on Wednesday, January 26th at 9 AM. The speaker will be Lt. Chris Nease with the GA State Patrol. They have made some adjustments to the GSP regions. He hopes to bring the new POST 42 Commander, and the current Night Hawks Commander to the meeting. The meeting has been approved for 1 hour Executive Credit.

The Jasper Police Department will be hosting the District 5 meeting on Thursday, February 24th. Retired Officer Don Evors will be teaching Below 100 . This training is available for 3 hours of executive credit.

The North Georgia Elder Abuse Task Force, along with the GBI and Toccoa Police Department, invites all law enforcement officers and prosecutors to a 1 day Elder Abuse Training. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Chief Bruce Hedley of Lilburn Police Department will be hosting the next GACP 9th District meeting on March 16th. No need to RSVP and there will be catered Chick-Fil-A. Training will be conducted by GACP Certification Coordinator Chuck Groover.
District 2 Meeting –

The March District 10 meeting will be held March 16th. SAC Wayne Smith will be doing a presentation on GBI: Response to Officer Involved Shootings. A new district representative will be chosen at this time.
The March Executive Board Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 17th at the Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville, GA.
The District 8 meeting will be held March 17th, directly following the Executive Board Meeting.
The Locust Grove Police Department will be hosting the District 10 meeting on Friday, March 18th. The topic of training will be Data Collection and Management, taught by Mike Yates.
