Leadership in the Midst of Change: Reminding Ourselves of the Skills and Principles – Which Do Not Change

Presenter:  Dr. Jack Enter

Date:  Tuesday, June 29, 2021

Time:  8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Location:

Woodstock First Baptist Church,

11905 Highway 92,

Woodstock, GA 30188

Cost: Free

Description:

Throughout history, law enforcement has always been on the front line of dealing with changes in American society.  As the United States continues to struggle with problems and issues, police agencies will face the challenges of being the “first responders” to these changes.  Though operational law enforcement usually rises to these challenges (though not always perfectly), perhaps more than ever the role of leading these police officers has never been more critical. Fortunately, the principles of leadership have not changed throughout the centuries.  This presentation will remind us of what it means to “lead” others and to be “in front” of the men and women in American law enforcement.

GA POST Hours:  4 REGULAR POST Hours

*Priority will be given to Sergeants and Lieutenants; however, if space permits, chiefs will be allowed to attend.
