GACP is hosting an 8-hour executive level Chief Peer Support Workshop at the GA Public Safety Training Center on November 26, 2019. This training will give an overview of peer support for chiefs and command staff at agencies throughout the state, especially smaller agencies with limited resources.
This training is in support of the initiatives set forth by previous GACP president, Chief Joe Wirthman, and current GACP president, Chief Wesley Walker, to create a chief and command staff response group to assist agencies during difficult emergency situations and critical incidents. Please note, this group is not intended to compete with the peer support group that was organized by the State of Georgia.
*This training is for chiefs and command staff who want to be a team member and will commit to participation in the group. It is not a standard general-information executive training.
