The training sessions will take place at the Country Inn and Suites.
The cost of the group dinner on Tuesday, August 28th is included in the registration fee.  You will receive an email containing menu options approximately 4-5 weeks before the seminar.  You will also be provided with a form to order guest tickets at that time. 
Registration for this seminar is open until August 22, 2018. Registrations received after August 15, 2018 or on-site registrations will incur a $25.00 late fee.
Participants who register, but who do not attend, will be billed as “no shows.”
No refunds will be given after August 15, 2018.

Human Trafficking and Gang Symposium @ GA Public Safety Training Center

The Georgia Public Safety Training Center, in conjunction with the Office of the Attorney General, the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council’s Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force, and the Department of Corrections, is presenting an educational symposium to help public safety personnel recognize and respond to human trafficking and gang activity within their own communities.

The symposium will be held at GPSTC on Monday, September 10, 2018, and is being coordinated by Mr. Bruce Stanford, Division Director of the Police Academy Division. Mr. Stanford is a Georgia POST certified instructor.

Warrior2Citizen is conducting  a training seminar centered around helping public safety employees and military vets maintain resiliency at work and at home.  We all know the toll trauma can take our law enforcement, fire fighters and 911 personnel.  It is FREE, lunch will be provided and state training hours are approved for both police and fire. Spouses are also invited and encouraged to come.


The keynote speaker is Vietnam Veteran and NFL Hall of Famer Rocky Bleier.

Greetings District 10,

We will hold our District 10 meeting on September the 14th from 1000hrs to 12000hrs.  The meeting location with be the 4th floor training room of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Council.

We will hear an “after action” report from Chief Buster Meadows and his Command Staff from the City of Newnan Police Department.  We will be discussing their successful planning and operation on the rally held in Newnan earlier this spring.  The way this was planned has really turned out to be the textbook way of handling such a large and potentially volatile event.

2 hours of executive credit offered.
