The Georgia Gang Investigators Association is honored to partner with Atlanta Redemption Ink (ARI), and the City of Peachtree City, and with the collaboration of IHG Hotels & Resorts, in offering an unparalleled opportunity for learning and networking and RISING IN ACTION against human trafficking. This event is meticulously designed for communities, law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, School Resource Officers (SROs), churches, educators, medical and mental health professionals, and advocates, providing them with the training and tools necessary to tackle these pressing issues effectively.
The summit’s agenda includes an exploration of advance training in combating human trafficking and commercial exploitation, understanding the relations between criminal street gangs and human trafficking, human trafficking within schools, cybersecurity, and the maintenance of multi-disciplinary teams. It emphasizes person-centered and trauma-informed approaches in working with and interviewing victims, child internet safety, and addressing secondary trauma.
