This position is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and evaluating training and development programs for conferences and seminars.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Business, Communications, Education/Adult Learning, or related field preferred; and five years of experience preferably in training or facilitation or an
equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Georgia Drivers License (Required)
Georgia POST Instructor Certification (Preferred but not required)
Basic Law Enforcement Certification (Preferred but not required)
Physical Requirements
Typically requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Light Work: The position may require exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg
controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
Must be able to travel within the state regularly and out of state on a limited basis.
Salary, Benefits & How to Apply
Entry salary for this position depends on qualifications (DOQ)of the selected candidate and is $70,000-82,000. Benefits package includes
Qualified Small Employer HRA (QSEHRA) plan, 401/457 retirement benefits, paid vacation, holiday and sick leave.
