President’s Message – Fall 2025

Dear GACP Members,

I am excited to share a recap of our recent Fall Conference held in Savannah, GA, and to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended. Your participation made this event a remarkable experience!

We welcomed over 600 attendees and 140 exhibitors, creating a vibrant environment for networking and collaboration. Congratulations to all the award recipients and nominees recognized during the luncheon; your hard work and dedication truly deserve this acknowledgment!

Throughout the conference, from the President’s Reception to the various committee meetings, we shared a wealth of updates and resources. It was fantastic to see so many of you come together, exchange ideas, and strengthen our community.

I would also like to express my deep gratitude to our special guests from the General Assembly. Your support and contributions greatly enhanced the conference experience. A huge thank you goes to the GACP staff for their outstanding behind-the-scenes work, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and contributing to the success of this event.

As we celebrate our achievements, let us take a moment to keep our brothers and sisters in blue in our prayers, along with the families of those we sadly lost this year. Their sacrifices remind us of the importance of our work and the bonds we share in this profession.

I encourage you to stay motivated, as our profession can be difficult and overwhelming at times. Keep the faith and do your best to make a difference; be the change agent in your community. 

In closing, I am truly thankful to serve as your president. The Executive Board is here to support you, and I encourage you to motivate your commanding officers to become members of GACP to continue our legacy of service and commitment within this great association. I hope all chiefs and command staff enjoyed the conference as much as I did, and I look forward to seeing everyone again at our 2026 Spring Conference!
