Executive Director’s Message – Spring 2026

I can’t believe that we are already in the month of April. Since the January 8th ribbon-cutting / opening of our new building in Peachtree Corners, we have already graduated two sessions of ”Chief’s School” this year in 2026. Now we are getting ready for the Spring Training Conference at the Gas South District Convention Center in Duluth on April 7th – 9th. The training will offer 24 different topics over 45 sessions during the three-day conference. Members can obtain up to 15 hours of training during the conference.

The last day of the 2026 Session of the Georgia General Assembly is April 2nd. Although it may take several weeks to determine exactly what legislation was passed and ultimately signed by Governor Kemp, I will provide the most current legislative information in two training sessions on the last day of the Spring Training Conference in Duluth.
